In some cases, both methods may be used.

1.5 Reminder Notifications
If you are registered for our automated order subscription service or have placed an order for delivery two or more days in advance, we will make every effort to send you an email a few hours before the cut-off time for amending your order. This reminder will also include the scheduled delivery time. Unless you have opted out of text notifications, we may also send this reminder via text message to the mobile number you provided.
1.6 Modifications to Order
After confirmation, any items added before the cut-off time will automatically be included in that order.

The law places restrictions on transactions involving alcohol. Alcohol must be ordered and delivered during normal licensing hours. If you order alcohol and cannot be home at the delivery time, it is your responsibility to ensure a suitable person is present to receive the order. We operate a “Challenge 25” policy, meaning we will request identification from anyone appearing under 25 who receives alcohol. Identification may also be requested for other age-restricted products, such as knives and DVDs. We reserve the right to withhold products if proof of age or an alternative adult is not available.

It is important that you review this agreement because by placing an order with us by telephone, , email, or online, you agree to the terms of this Agreement which shall cover the terms of our deliveries to you and your use of our website. This Agreement is between you and Buzee food, that states the terms and conditions under which you may use the Site and receive deliveries from us.
4 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
From time to time, products you order may be unavailable. If we are unable to fulfil your entire order, we will make every reasonable effort to substitute the closest product.
Plastic Bag Charges , Price and Delivery,
4.1 Pricing of Goods
4.1a Except for goods mentioned in Clauses 4.1(b) and 4.1(c), including products from our butcher and fishmonger that are sold and priced individually (i.e., a fixed price per item) and packaged by us, the price of such goods will be as quoted on our website at the time you confirm your order (typically by clicking the “checkout” button). This is subject to any inadvertent technical errors for which we will not be liable. If you amend your order to add items, the prices for new products not included in your original order will be those quoted at the time you confirm the amended order. However, if you add more of the same items that were in your original order, the prices will reflect those confirmed in your original order. For substitute items offered, the price charged for an accepted substitute will be based on the price applicable at the time of substitution. Please note that promotions are time-limited, and subsequent amendments to your order may mean certain promotions are no longer available.
4.1b For items ordered and sold individually by weight (such as certain fresh meats, poultry, fish, cheese, or fruits and vegetables), excluding “goods from our Butcher and Fishmonger,” the price will be based on the actual weight measured by our supplier on the date of weighing. Although we provide an indicative price per kilogram (kg) and an approximate weight guide on our website for planning purposes, the final price will reflect the weight you receive. If there is a discrepancy between the website price per kg at the time of order and the price at weighing, you will be charged the prevailing price at that time. “Goods from our Butcher and Fishmonger” are those individually packaged by us and priced either by weight or item, as specified on our website.
4.1c For goods specifically from our Butcher and Fishmonger, the price will be as quoted on the website at the time you confirm your order, subject to any inadvertent technical errors. If you later amend your order, prices will reflect those applicable to the new items at the time of confirmation. An indicative weight guide is available for your planning, but the final charge will be based on the actual weight you receive. Should the price per kg change between your order confirmation and the actual weighing, you will be charged the price at the time of your order. For full details, please refer to the Butcher and Fishmonger Terms & Conditions, including terms regarding substitutions.
4.2 VAT
All prices stated on our website include any applicable VAT.
4.3 Delivery Charges
Each order may incur a delivery charge, which will be displayed as a separate charge on the delivery confirmation page before you finalize your order. Delivery charges depend on various factors, including the value of your order, the chosen delivery date and time, and your delivery address, and may vary weekly.
4.4 Plastic Bag Charges
In accordance with government regulations introduced in 2015, we are required to charge for plastic bags. A fee of 5p will be automatically applied for each plastic bag used in your delivery.
5 PAYMENT
We accept payment via Stripe, Apple Pay, PayPal and Credit/Debit cards. In the event your card/payment type is declined, we reserve the right to collect funds for any uncollected transactions owed us should a payment made via credit card be declined. If you fail to pay any fees or charges when due, we may charge such amount directly to the credit card identified in your Customer Account Information and we may suspend or terminate your access to our Service. You shall be responsible and liable for any fees, including but not limited to attorney’s fees and collection costs, that we may incur in our efforts to collect any unpaid balances from you.
Methods of Payment
5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Payment may be made using debit, credit, or charge cards, as well as some business account cards. We also accept payments via PayPal and buzeefood.co.uk Vouchers. Please note that no other vouchers or “money-off” coupons will be accepted for payment. Any refunds for orders paid with vouchers will be issued as buzeefood.co.uk vouchers. Cash or cheque payments are not accepted.
5.2 Accepted Cards
The debit, credit, and charge cards accepted by us are listed on our website at the time you place your order.
5.3 Payment Authorization
Authority for payment will be requested from your card issuer between the time your order is placed and when it is delivered. This is done by ‘reserving’ an amount against the card you used for payment, which will be either the estimated total of your order (including any charges for carrier bags) or £1. This amount is not deducted from your account until we ‘debit’ your card with the full price of your order, which occurs after delivery. We reserve the right to cancel your order if payment authorization is refused or if we reasonably believe that payment may be declined at any stage.
5.4 Compensation for Failed Payments
You agree to compensate us fully for all reasonable costs, expenses, and outgoings incurred in obtaining payments from you in the event of a failed payment. This may include an administration charge of no less than £10. Following a failed payment, we may enlist a debt collection agency to recover the payment from you.

- Availability at Delivery Address: You must ensure that an appropriate person is present at the delivery address during the specified delivery slot.

If you instruct Buzee Food or any of our third-party delivery partners (such as DHL or Parcelforce) to leave a delivery unattended at your address, we expressly disclaim all liability for any issues that may arise from leaving the delivery unattended. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Theft

For any questions or concerns regarding your order or our delivery service, please contact us at [info@buzeefood.co.uk].

Delivery days and times will be specified on the delivery booking page of the website, including all Sunday delivery times. Deliveries will be made to the address you provided when registering on the website. You can update this address through the “Details & Settings” feature, and you must do so if you move to ensure we deliver to the correct location. We reserve the right to restrict deliveries to certain areas and may exclude specific locations from our delivery schedule.
6.8 Product Availability
Products are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions. We may limit the quantities of goods (especially those on special offer) supplied to any one customer if we believe the ordered quantity jeopardizes availability for others. If any goods you order are unavailable, we may offer a reasonable substitute, which may affect the price you pay. You may reject any substitute item, and we will refund the amount charged for that substitute. We will identify any substitute items at the time of delivery and allow you to accept or reject them then. For details on substituted items for goods from our butcher and fishmonger, please refer to the Butcher and Fishmonger Terms & Conditions.
6.9 Order Fulfilment
We strive to supply the full quantity of your order. If you are not satisfied with the quantity received, we will arrange for non-perishable goods to be returned to us (provided the goods are unused and in good condition). If your delivery is incomplete or includes incorrect items, you must notify us promptly. You will not be charged for incorrect goods or those you did not receive. In any case, subject to Clause 12.1, our liability is limited to the price of the goods not delivered or incorrectly delivered and the cost of delivery.
6.10 Delivery Responsibility
We take special care to ensure deliveries are made within a designated time slot. It is your responsibility to have an appropriate person available at the delivery address during this time. We may require that someone signs for the goods upon delivery. If no one is present when delivery is attempted, we will retain the goods and leave a notification, and will attempt to contact you to rearrange delivery.
6.11 Late or Cancelled Deliveries
Adverse weather conditions or events outside our reasonable control may occasionally cause late or cancelled deliveries. In such cases, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. In any event, subject to Clause 12.1, our liability is limited to the price of goods not delivered and the cost of delivery.
6.12 Failure to Accept Delivery
If you are not present for your delivery, we reserve the right to charge you in full for the price of any perishable items in your order as well as the cost of delivery.
6.13 Unattended Deliveries
buzee food typically makes deliveries only when an appropriate person is available to receive them. If you instruct us to leave a delivery unattended, we expressly disclaim all liability for any issues that may arise from leaving the delivery unattended. This includes, but is not limited to, theft, tampering, contamination, or temperature changes affecting items that need to be kept chilled or frozen.
6.14 Christmas Delivery Period
The Christmas delivery period runs from December 20 to December 24, inclusive. During this period, you can book a maximum of two deliveries, with no more than one scheduled for December 23 or 24.
7 SUSPENSION OF YOUR ACCOUNT AND CANCELLATION OF DELIVERIES
7.1 Right to Cancel Deliveries
We reserve the right to cancel your delivery at any time if we suspect fraud, believe you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if there is an outstanding payment for any account registered at your address. For instance, if you violate our terms regarding Discount Offers and Vouchers, we may cancel your order. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive an email notification and will be invited to contact us for further assistance.
7.2 Account Suspension
In addition to our right to cancel orders as outlined in Clause 7.1, we reserve the right to suspend your account. Your account will remain suspended until you contact us and address any breaches that can be remedied, or provide any information reasonably requested by our Customer Service advisers to facilitate the reactivation of your account.
7.3 Unforeseen Issues
In the rare event that unforeseen operational or technical issues arise, we may need to cancel or reschedule your delivery. If this occurs, we will make every effort to contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date.

From time to time, and at our sole discretion, purchases of goods may be subject to special offers. If a special offer applies to your purchase, the terms of that offer will be governed by these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the terms of a special offer and these Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail unless otherwise specified.
8.2 Changes and Withdrawals
We may change the terms of special offers or withdraw them entirely at any time without prior notice. Subject to Clauses 4.1(a) and 6.8, we will honour the offer price for any order placed by you before the offer ends, is amended, or withdrawn.
